| China has so far formed up an economic pattern characterized by three leading economic growth poles:Yangtze River delta,Pearl River delta area and the economic ring around the Bohai area.The Chengyu economic area,located in western part of China as Shaanxi province,tries hard to make itself the "Fourth Pole".Henan province,which is a part of economic area of Euro-Asian Continental Bridges just as Shaanxi province,considers the city agglomeration constructions in the central China as a great strategy for the rise of central part.Meanwhile,we also see the rapid rise in Wuhan metropolitan region and the Changzhutan city agglomeration.The central government has put forward in the Outline of the Eleventh Five-Year Plan that all cities are supposed to specify their future development strategy in light of their own resource endowment features.The report at 17th Party Congress noted that we should fully implement the Scientific Outlook on Development and lead a balanced and ecological path.Given that the energy issue may probably remain a focus for all nations,the Grand Guanzhong economic area is obliged to identify its role before setting a path of economic development which is identical with its resource endowment.With great theoretical and realistic significance,building up and cultivating "the energy growth pole" by considering the resource endowment would help exert its correspondent advantages,realize the most optimum distribution of resources and finally facilitate the all-round,coordinated and sustainable development for Grand Guanzhong district.The entire work would fall into seven chapters:ChapterⅠ.Raising problems.This part is an outline of the paper which concerns primarily the research background,research value,the approach adopted as well as the innovation and framework.ChapterⅡ.Literature Review.Based on the previous theories and literature,the analysis is carried out by centering around two aspects:one is overview of the relevant literature;the other is description of the related theories.ChapterⅢ.Investigation over the status of resource endowment in Grand Guanzhong district. Given the demarcation of the district,this chapter that makes one of the keystones of the paper carries out analysis over the resource endowment in Grand Guanzhong district.As found in research, the Grand Guanzhong economic area owns great advantages in energy and resources,which makes it an ideal place for high energy-consuming industries.Besides,the result proves that the advantages of social resources would serve a supportive condition for the shift from energy and resource advantages to economic advantages.
