| Food is a special commodity, directly related to consumer health and safety. In the world, the serious consequences caused by food-borne disease every year make food safety issues become the focus of attention by people and the priority issues of global public health. In China, as the continuous improvement of agriculture productivity levels, the food shortage problem has been ease in a certain degree, but the food safety status quo should not be optimistic. Therefore, learn lessons from food safety incidents and from the developed countries advanced legislative and regulatory experience, and actively explored and established food safety monitoring system suitable for China's national conditions has been imminent.This paper is in such a background, starting with the food safety regulatory status quo, the causes and impact , noting the seriousness of Chinese current food security situation and the importance of strengthening food safety control. Taking Foshan City as an example, this paper, on the basis of the analysis of the proposed traditional food regulatory system, analyze that Chinese food safety supervision is no longer suited to the needs of the development, and we must establish new food safety monitoring system suitable for Chinese national conditions. Finally, on the basis of comparative study of domestic and international food safety control theory and practice ,and from the perspective of system, legal, technology, information, education, the paper elaborate that under the Chinese specific national conditions ,the solutions of food security supervision must take a series of regulatory measures. |
