| On the basis of analysizing the economic growth data and employment data of Shaanxi province in recent years, the thesis mainly focuses on the phenomenon that the economic growth of Shaanxi province has been developing in recent years while its influence to prosper the job market in the province has not functioned with an anticipated degree, and in certain years, even "Okun's Law" malfunctions in some sections. Although the economy of Shaanxi province has been developing very fast in recent years, the accession rate is not improved. And some unique characteristics of Shaanxi province should be considered in questing the reasons for the phenomenon. Those characteristics include: a large number of universities and research centers, the unbalanced development of economy in different regions, and the underdeveloped manufacturing industry, etc. The thesis proposes several ways on how to cooperate the economic development and employment via the research on different factors influenced them.At present, in China, there is a limitation in the research of the relation between economic development and employment. Most researchers tend to use qualitative analysis methods to study the relation while only a few researchers to study it through quantitative research methods. Nevertheless, up till now, there are no concrete quantized explanations to illustrate the extent that the development of economy influences employment promotion, and whether the various ways of developing economy as well as the arrangement of industry structure can greatly affect the local employment or not.Hence, significantly, it is urgent to study the economic growth and employment of Shaanxi province. The thesis discusses the inner factors and the index of economic growth, etc. By using econometrics and elastic analysis ,etc to analysize the relation between economic growth of Shaanxi province and its employment. As a result, according to the conclusion, employment priority, industrial structures, faster urbanization ,etc are the solutions to subemployment. |
