The Eco-city Construction And Coordinated Economic Development

With progress of society and improvement of people' life, the concept of "ecological city", namely how to build a comfortable city for people' life, has been put forward. However, there is no clear and uniform final conclusion about the way to build the "ecological city" and its basic functions currently. Thereupon, all sorts of models of "ecological city" have appeared, such as the model of health, the model of environmental protection, the model of landscape, the model of scenery etc. Nevertheless, each model cannot be built without the support of economical development. The beautiful city can only be built on the basis of economical development, stability of society, and improvement of population quality. Hence, it is crucial to coordinate the relation between the building of ecological city and economical development during the process of urbanization.On the basis of basic theories of ecological city, ecological economics and sustainable development, the article has debated that the economy should be coordinated and kept stale while the ecological city has been building, which can lead to the sustainable development of city. At the same time, it has put forward the basic concept, measuring methods and models of economic development and ecological construction as well as its structure of index of system and the calculation of degree of coordination. In the article, the coordination between the construction of ecological city and its economic development in Zhengzhou has been researched using the positive analysis method. Firstly, the current problems have been analyzed; secondly, the current situation has been comprehensively evaluated through index of system and the calculation of degree of coordination; finally, some strategies and suggestions have been proposed, which is the most important part of the article, and the practice of social problem research from theory.
