Research on economic growth has been the subject of Economics for a long time. With the advent of the twenty-first century, humanity has entered a knowledge-based society. The mode of Economic growth is being transformed from the traditional reliance on physical capital investment to human capital-driven's. It is also becoming increasingly clear that the knowledge and talent is the key factor to change the mode of economic growth and improve the quality of economic growth.As a one of biggest province in economy and popularity, Shandong is now in the critical period which is developing by leaps and bounds. System and economic transformation is a heavy task. Facing the fierce competition, especially international and domestic inter-regional competition, we must recognize that contribution of human capital to Shandong Province's economic growth is an important topic in front of us. This paper reviewing the contribution of human capital to the economic growth in Shandong Province in quantitativ analysis.First of all, this paper expatiates theory capital and economic growth which is useful to the analysis.then, We make use of new economic growth model, the effective labor model and human capital externalities model to analyse the Shandong human capital and economic growth in regression.through the model, we peel off the contribution of the human capital to the economic growth in Shandong procince.After all, we explore the the problems and reasons that the contribution of Shandong human capital to the economic gtowth. Finally, on the basis of academic and demonstrative analysis, we propose some suggestion for advancing the accumulation of human capital to improve the contribution of huamn capital to the economic growth.
