Development Strategy Of The Yangtze River Delta Container Port Group Study

Container shipping which is a kind of transportation , has been greatly developing since 1970s. Effect of scale and maximization of revenue , which lead to upsizing of container ship and ask for depth of loading dock'water. It is an important project how to program and construct a container port to avoid wasting resources and reconstructing.This paper emphasizes the Yangtze River Delta as the object of research area. In past 10 years, the economy of the Yangtze River Delta has been developing quickly. Now it is becoming one of the most energetic and prosperous economical areas in the country and all over the word. The trade import and export of Yangtze River Delta is prosperous and the construction of container harbor group in this area appears especially importantly."The port back up the city"become many cities the mutual recognition. Meanwhile there are several kinds of factors to consider in the construction of container harbor. How does economy development of harbor hinterland and construction of harbor affect and promotion mutually? How does the upsizing of the container ships affect the container harbor the construction? How dose the natural condition and the soft service of a container harbor affect its further developing? We will try to study these questions in a whole in this paper.This paper mainly divides into three parts. In the first part the primary factors which affect the container harbor construction are divided into three in theory, the hinterland, the harbor own and the ocean route. We emphasize the relations and effect of these three essential factors. The second part, we analyze the development condition and the tendency of container harbor group of Yangtze River Delta, as well as development of the harbors'hinterland and ocean route. We will study why the hinterland economy has the gradient shift, the lane-route ships is upsizing, as well as the harbor development is imbalanced. In the third part, we bring forward the solutions for problems among the Yangtze River Delta harbor, hinterland and ocean route.
