Based On The Canonical Correlation Analysis Of The Yangtze River Delta Region Harbor Group With Hinterland Economy Interactive Mechanism Research

At the background of economic globalization and the development of the world economy integration, our country's economy has developed rapidly. The economic development promoted the development of the international trade, and there is goods circulation in any trade. Currently, 90% of the goods in the world trade is transported by sea to achieve space metastases, sea transportation development has directly promoted our port industry. The economic development provides sufficient funds, goods supply for port industry; conversely, port industry also provides a more convenient and quick service for the economic development, the affect each other and promote thee development mutually.Yangtze River delta area, as one of China's fastest growing economy areas, the economic impact between harbor group and its hinterland is very outstanding. This paper carries out an intensive study on the interrelationships between the harbor group of Yangtze River delta and its hinterland development. From the qualitative aspects, emphatically from the quantitative aspects, the paper points out the interaction mechanism between the port group and its hinterland development. It also provides different measures for the economic development of port group and its hinterland. Meanwhile, the study can provide corresponding references for the development and construction of other port groups and hinterland, promoting coordinated development of harbor groups and the interior economy in China.The methods of the qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis are applied in this paper. First, on the aspect of the qualitative analysis, based on the domestic and foreign literature review, the author overviews relevant theories of the development of harbor group and interior economy; and put forward clear definitions of port group and hinterland. Based on the domestic and overseas scholars'theories on the interactive development of harbor group and hinterland, the author makes a comprehensive analysis of the situations of harbor group and hinterland in the Yangtze River delta. Secondly, in the quantitative analysis, this article introduces the method of canonical correlation analysis. With the use of SPSS, the author conducted a detailed analysis on the two groups of variables: harbor group and the economic development of hinterland, and got a clear quantitative relation between the harbor group and the economic development of hinterland. Finally, we got the following conclusions: according to the development of one party, we can predict the other party's condition. Thus we can make flexible development strategy and policy. In combination of the present situation of Yangtze River delta, practical measures and suggestions are presented to improve the interactive development of harbor group and its hinterland. Meanwhile, in the light of the experience and results of Yangtze River delta, the paper prospects the interactive development of harbor group and the hinterland in China's coastal areas in the future.
