| There is always a common rule during the thriving and development of nearly all port cities in the world: port prospers city, and port flourishes together with city. Port could not only promote the economical development of the city it owed to, but also bring along the economical development of areas about and hinterlands. Under the background of faster integrity of global economy and China's entrance into WTO, the Yangtze Delta is becoming one of the most energetic and prosperous economical areas in the country and all over the world, The Yangtze Delta makes strategic sense beyond comparison of other areas to the development of our country. So it is more and more urgent and necessary to pay attention to the research of effects which the Yangtze Delta port cluster acts on its hinterlands.Though our coastal port clusters have formed the pattern of coordinated development, clear administrative levels and predominant emphasis, the gap between their development and the task they undertake is still very wide. To integrate the port resources and to push the port incorporating strategy is an effective means to solve such problems. Aiming at the upgrade of the core competitive abilities of the port cluster and the ports, we can promote the continual development of port industry as well as the hinterland economy. This is the basic instructional idea of the port cluster resources integration.This paper does the research on the development actuality of the Yangtze Delta port-hinterland economy, and digs out the problems which exist in the process of its development by using qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. More important thing is to use model and to collect, analyse data to further the research of the relationship between the Yangtze Delta port cluster integration and hinterland economy. Finally, this paper makes innovative and constructive suggestions on the Yangtze Delta port cluster integration by learning foreignexperience of port resources integration. |
