Collaborative Development Environment Oem Supplier Product Quality Management

In 1990's early, the MNCs from Europe, USA, Japan change the traditional production mode one after another and regard it as the major management strategy to establish the relationship of strategy alignment with the OEM suppliers in supply chain. The OEM cooperation which conforms to current supply chain management based on the"horizontal integration"realized the effective utility and distribution of social resources. However, the quality of OEM product will affect the quality of final product directly. Thus, how to improve the product quality of OEM suppliers is an urgent task the current MNCs are being confronted with now.In this dissertation, author introduced the OEM concept and systematically analyzed the special importance of the development of OEM suppliers. In the meantime, author expatiated the theory of supplier collaborative product development,ISO9000 quality system,QS9000 quality system,the common quality tools,specialty of OEM product and characteristic of product quality management of OEM suppliers. As to the product quality management of OEM suppliers, author payed more attention to proactive quality management such as predict and prevent at development stage of products.In the case of this dissertation, based on the passive reactive quality system of Motorola MDB which author is working for, author established the proactive management method of product quality of OEM suppliers under collaborative development. Meantime, based on this method, author established the correlated product launch method with flawless quality and introduced the implementation steps and real case of the management method of product quality of OEM suppliers.In the end, author summarized the strength and weakness of the product quality management method of OEM supplier and provided the future prospect of this method.
