Under the background of global economy, the resources of business activities can be allocated optimally around the world, such as purchasing, logistics, production, selling and so on. However, at the same time of globalization, people's identification of ego, nationality and culture is either being intensified. Different modes of thought, senses of worth, and ways of act, coming from cultural difference, are the important element to make business activities and cross-culture management appear misunderstanding and even clash. Therefore, the unrest can be seen from time to time in any of transnational companies, and some even lead to the fail. In this case, cross-culture management becomes more difficult to handle, and its research also becomes more important. The trend of globalization put transnational operation into the destined options for many enterprises. How to make the corporate culture become the core competitiveness which crosses the boundary of nations and nationalities is worth thinking for many transnational corporations. There are many materials worth studying whatever they are the successful experiences or the failure lessons in cross-culture management. German medium sized enterprises are all along the mainstay of German economy and some of them have developed to be famous large-scale the multinationals. The research on the cross-culture management of German medium sized transnational enterprises is of big significance and enlightenment for the medium sized enterprises in China if these enterprises also choose the way of transnational operation. So this thesis is mainly studying the elements to influence the cross-culture management of H Company of Germany and the strategies to overcome these elements.Firstly, the thesis introduces the background and significances of this study, emphasizing the importance of cross-culture management in MNCs.Secondly, the thesis gives the presentation of theories of cross-culture management, excelling at the relative research of transnational corporations'cross-culture management. Thirdly, the thesis introduces the background of H Company and analyses the elements to influence the company's cross-culture management: China-German cultural differences, the styles of leaders, cross-culture communication barrier, and the corporate culture. These elements make the cross-culture management confront bottleneck.Fourth, aiming at the element mentioned in the third part, the thesis gives the strategies and suggestions to the company's cross-culture management. Adding with the enforcement process suggestion for the subsidiary of Shanghai, these suggestions will give other enterprises thoughts and enlightenments when choosing transnational operation mode.
