In the era of knowledge economy, competitive advantage of organization depends on the ability adjusting to rapidly changing circumstance through new knowledge continuous producing and applying, and human resource development is the key to assure these capabilities. As the last process of human resource development cycle, human resource development evaluation is a key component of human resource development process.Training development is an important form of human resource development, and training development effectiveness evaluation is an important component of training process. Taking training development effectiveness evaluation methods as researching subject, this paper studies these methods application in enterprise. Basing on introducing training development effectiveness evaluation theory, this paper expounds training development effectiveness evaluation models, and studies these methods application in enterprise using questionnaire as the main method, and provides some recommendations based on the conclusion of the study to improve training development effectiveness evaluation in enterprise.This study finds that most of enterprises have training development effectiveness evaluation,but evaluation level is lower. Most enterprises focus on the reaction,learning level evaluation, but few enterprises pay attention to the behavior,effects level even the ROI evaluation.Enterprises that have training development effectiveness evaluation generally use Kirkpatrick's 4-Level Evaluation Model, other models that used not generally are Phillips's 5-Level Evaluation Model,Kaufman's 5-Level Evaluation Model,CIRO Model,CIPP Model and Holton Model. Researching finds that considerable proportions of enterprises that have training development effectiveness evaluation use none of these models.The level of understanding of these models is low, but the level of understanding of Kirkpatrick's 4-Level Evaluation Model is slightly higher.The level of awareness of feasibility of these models is low, but the level of awareness of feasibility of Kirkpatrick's 4-Level Evaluation Model is slightly higher. Correlation analysis shows that the understanding and the awareness of feasibility of these models has significant positive correlation.
