Research On Industrial Cluster Innovation Mechanism Based On Industry Chain Integration

The development of industrial cluster plays an increasingly important role in the world economy, China's governments at all levels have recognized the industrial cluster and its innovation capability have an important impact for regional competitive advantage. But on the whole, China's industrial cluster is still in the initial stage of development, the main advantage is the low-cost product driven by low-cost factor, and innovative industrial cluster will be the inevitable choice of future development. To promote the industrial cluster to upgrade, the following studies must be embraced: to be an in-depth cluster system, to insight into the micro-operational mechanism of the innovation process, to examine the impact factors of cluster innovation performance, to analysis their function mechanism, and to propose the cluster innovation performance's promoting countermeasures. Therefore, the analysis on the cluster innovation mechanism through new research perspective and methods has become an urgent Subject.Through comprehensively using of such multidisciplinary research tools as economics, systematology, network theory, innovation theory, in the principle of integration of empirical and normal research, integration of qualitative theory interpretation and quantitative model analysis, and integration of static and dynamic analysis, based on industry chain integration theory, this paper studied cluster innovation nerwork, cluster innovation process mechanism and impact factors function mechanism, built the theoretical model for empirical Study.On the basis of industry chain integration theory, in order to introduce the research perspective of cluster innovation to industry chain integration, that is, the integration of knowledge and network, this paper made clear that cluster innovation was essentially the process of cluster eterprises'knowledge integration through network for innovation value. Industry chain integration included product integration, value integration and knowledge integration, industry chain integration was the essence of knowledge integration. This paper constructed the coupled model reflecting the relations of industry chain and cluster to prove that industry chain integration was an effective management mode to industrial cluster, further analyzed cluster innovation Network, and then built an analysis framework of'network structure– network platform– network evolution'to provide the theoretical basis for the innovation mechanism research.Be aimed at the inadequate of cluster innovative research focusing on the innovation system such as the macro level and emphasizing on static analysis, this paper started the micro-process of cluster innovation. Based on industry chain integration theory this paper analyzed the cluster innovation path, which included the vertical knowledge integration and horizontal knowledge integration, and then analyzed the innovation process by game theory. This paper revealed the impact factors of cluster innovation performance, that is, knowledge spillovers, knowledge integration capability, networking extent, innovation mechanism, analyzed the content and constitute dimension of the impact factors to lay the theoretical foundation for building theoretical model and empirical analysis.Against the shortage of the traditional cluster innovation research focusing on the macro level such as innovation system and static analysis, the paper started from the micro process of cluster innovation, analyzed the cluster innovation path including vertical integration and horizental integration based on industry chain integration and their game process, revealed the impact factors of cluster innovation performance, that included knowledge spillovers, knowledge integration process, networking extent and innovation mechanism, analyzed the intention and formation of the impact factors, and built the theoretical model of cluster innovation performance. On this basis, this paper analyzed the conduction process of knowledge spillovers, knowledge integration process and the adjustment process to the relationship between knowledge spillovers and cluster innovation performance, defined the fuction relations among impact factors, and put forward the research assumption.This paper made a set of questionnaire to measure the cluster innovation performance and the impact factors and used descriptive statistical analysis, the reliability analysis, validity analysis and structure equation model to the research hypothesis of the theoretical model for empirical test and path analysis. This study show that: tacit knowledge spillovers, knowledge absorptive capacity and knowledge systematic capacity exert a leading influence on cluster innovation performance, also showed explicit knowledge spillovers didn't exert significant impact on cluster innovation performance; knowledge integration capability didn't have the adjustment role to the relations between explicit knowledge spillovers and cluster innovation performance, knowledge integration capability had the adjustment role to the relations between tacit knowledge spillovers and cluster innovation performance; network linkage scope, network linkage intensity, innovation driving mechanism and collective learning mechanism had the direct impact on knowledge spillovers and knowledge integration capability, thus indirectly impacted cluster innovation performance, but network linkage stability had no direct impact on knowledge spillovers and knowledge integration capability.At last, discussing the related research results, from the four perspectives of knowledge spillovers, knowledge integration capability, networking extent and innovation mechanism, this paper proposed cluster innovation performance's promoting countermeasures, which would provide ideas and methods for the enterprises in industrial cluster to improve innovation performance.
