Canada Sustainable Agriculture Development Project Communication Management Research

Project management can not be separated from communication which penetrates through every aspects of project management. It is necessary to carry out information communication of project for the sake of scientifical organization, direction, coordination and control of project implementation. Complexity and cross-culture of international development assistance projects require a scientific and unimpeded system of project communication management so as to realize project objectives. Currently, there are some management models which combine managerial theories and practice. However, models and approaches of communication managemtent for international development assistance projects with Chinese characteristics are few. The purpose of this thesis is to improve management level of China-Canada Sustainable Agriculture Development Project through study.First of all, basic theories related are introduced in the thesis. Based on studies about communication, project communication and cross-culture communication management carried out by predecessors as well as the common model of communication process, it raises obstacles which affect effective communication and fundmental communication principles which have to be carried out in project communication process.Secondly, the thesis gives an introduction of Sustainable Agriculture Development Project in terms of project background and implementation. Through a large number of documents study, it analyzes deeply current situation and problems of communication management in Sustainable Agriculture Development Project. Adopting theories of project communication management, it proposes solution thoughts aiming at communication management problems in Sustainable Agriculture Development Project by combing with its actual situation.Thirdly, the thesis carries out expatiation in terms of project organization structure, communication channel and methods, and cross-culture communication respectively. Adopting theories of project communication management, it proposes communication management designing for Sustainable Agriculture Development Project.The thesis purposes suggestions and countermeasures for Sustainable Agriculture Development Project, which can be used in management of international development assistance projects in China for reference.
