Research On Communication Management Of China Mobile's 4G Capacity Enhancement Project For Hongqiao Railway Station

Communication management is a dynamic interactive process in the whole process of project planning,development and completion and plays an important role as an essential branch of the project management discipline.Its functions are mainly focus on transmission of information,exchange of information,information feedback and so on.By establishing a reasonable and effective communication mechanism,noises in communication can be reduced as much as possible,project execution efficiency can be improved,project progress can be accelerated and project expenditures can be saved.The necessary message in project can be accurately and quickly expressed and propagated.Based on a full understanding of the relevant theories and concepts of project management,this thesis is mainly focused on the China Mobile's 4G Capacity Enhancement Project for Waiting Hall and Arrival Level of Hongqiao Railway Station's project.In the context of delayed progress and declining quality of this project,the communication management problem was identified through interviews.A model for evaluation of the communication management is carried out by combining the COWA operator weighting method and the gray theory.This model helps to quantitatively analyze factors during the communication management of China Mobile's 4G capacity enhancement project.Finally,the communication barriers in the project communication management were reduced to improve communication efficiency and to ensure the project go smoothly.In this research,we propose several scientific and effective suggestions on project communication discipline.Several points are being focused including the communication management mechanism,the communication channels,the project stakeholders' identification and the creation of a harmonious and democratic communication atmosphere.Improving the communication skills and communication awareness of the team members also plays an important role.The corresponding communication strategies include setting up project contact manager,formulating standardized communication templates,conducting multi-channel and improving communication feedback mechanisms.These methods improve the communication management system,expedite communication efficiency and enhance the competitiveness of the project.
