Thirty-one years have gone by since China began reform and opening policy. Theachievement China attained in politics, economy, science&technology, humanities, has attracted the world's attention, especially in economy development. The total economic output in 2008 has been ranked third in the world, after the United States and Japan.With China's rapid economic development, large-scale foreign investment flows into China market. In order to make a profit, they invest and set up factories in China, hire Chinese workers and carry out various commercial activities. The number of scholars researching foreign corporation is on the rise. Based on the research results of the previous scholars, this thesis firstly and deeply research the turnover intention of Chinese employees in foreign enterprises. The foreign corporate culture, acquires a very good adaptability for Chinese employees so that they can create a profit. That is, the adaptability will have an important influence on the turnover intention.In this thesis, intercultural adaptability which belongs to social sciences is applied to the research of turnover intention of Chinese employees in foreign corporation, which is the first. By analyzing and summarizing the results of previous studies, the author makesNormal Turnover Process Model and Chinese Employees of Foreign Corporation Turnover Factors Model, which is a base for further study of Chinese employees of foreigncorporation.This thesis reveals the correlation of Chinese employees of foreign corporation betweenintercultural adaptability and the turnover intention, by a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods. Through literature research, the thesis makes a theoretical hypothesis, which is that the correlation of Chinese employees of foreign corporation betweenintercultural adaptability and the turnover intention is a strong negative correlation. This thesis defined two brand-new concepts, intercultural adaptability index and the turnover intention index, and we can use a number to reflect their relative degree. In this thesis, the author designs two questionnaires, intercultural adaptability questionnaire and turnover intention questionnaire and than asks a favor for friends and classmates who had worked in foreign corporation to investigate. Finally, by principal component analysis, the number of intercultural adaptability index and the turnover intention index was calculated. Correlation coefficient of the intercultural adaptability and the turnover intentions is -0.604.Author hopes that the results of this study can be applied to the management process of foreign corporation for management efficiency and effect. In this thesis, author gives some application suggestions about how to low the turnover rate.In this thesis, the intercultural adaptability only is considered in Chinese Employees of Foreign Corporation Turnover Factors Model. There are a lot of complicated and various factors for further consideration.
