Chinese companies face large challenge and opportunity when financial crisis has swept the whole world. How to enhance its own completive capacity among domestic and foreign companies becomes a prior question considered by many Chinese mechanical and electrical companies. Learning from car, household electrical appliances and electrical products industry, the best way for Chinese mechanical and electrical companies is that enhances products and brand identity.Products identity system is an identity design system focusing on market on basis of CIS. Specifically, it is a whole managerial products strategy that products identity is visualized, standardized and systemized by certain visual identity design and create consistent identity for public by propaganda. Complete products identity is formed by mind identity related to enterprise conception and brand spirit as well as product external visual performance guided by mind identity. For mechanical and electrical products, they faces to a special market which is different with consumer products', so the products identity needs special pertinence in accord with its own requirements and characteristic.Basic knowledge and relative concepts of products identity system are researched and theoretic construction and modes of common products identity are generalized firstly by this thesis. Design features of electrical and mechanical products are analyzed secondly and then products identity system establishment and implementation of electrical and mechanical products are analyzed mainly with a detailed design case—products identity design of HM300 high pressure forming equipment which design methods of forming equipments are explored from shape design, structure design ,color design, decoration design and material design ,etc. and key points and relative methods of this kind of products are presented ,theory combined with practice which products identity system theory is became a applicable guiding theory.
