with the yearly decline of newly discovered oil resources , the exploration of oil /gas field has become more and more difficult. Higher service quality is demanded while petroleum service corporation researching new techniques. Utilizing a series of domestic and foreign advanced human resource management theories including performance indicators theory and practical operation to design an operation managers' performance indicator system, which is appropriated to the practical situation and the market economy of China, is the urgent problem of the petroleum service corporations, especially the private petroleum service corporations.The thesis generally illustrates the theory tools, methods, and research & application situation of Performance Indicator System. It also analyzes problems in the enterprise on Performance Management, especially Performance Indicator System establishment, through analysis on present situation of Performance Indicator System in HY corporation. The article used various theories, Through interviews, statistics, research methods, To KPI theory-driven instrument, Set up a set of performance indicators, including indicators and capacity HY corporation fit the characteristics of performance appraisal index system. This will not only reflects the current performance requirements, but also reflects the status of the competency requirements, and connect the present performance with future development.Through the theory study and the analysis of corporation's real situation, the author further realizes that the theory tools are not omnipotent. We must combine the company's real conditions with the direction of various theories. Then we can establish an appropriate Performance Indicator System matching the corporation's present condition, as well as a long-term development, and keeping its validity.
