With the rapid development of information technology and enterprises business activities, and the changes of relationship between enterprises and consumers, there is a huge development of electronic commercials. Follow the step of globalization, Chinese internet step into a new era, web portal, electronic commercial, SNS and video web have appeared. And the success of some electronic enterprises such as Alibaba, Taobao and Dangdang make the demand of talents increase more and more. And the competition among the electronic enterprises is the competition of talents, that is one reason that why the turn over of electronic enterprises is so high.How to motivate employees, and set-up the motivation system which is suitable for the electronic commercial industry and the enterprises' development, is a key issue for all of the electronic commercial enterprises, also it's a key issues for all HR staff. We should concern and research that positive motivate the employees and make it become positive performance, then improve the total performance of enterprises. Contrasting to traditional manufacturing, internet enterprises need the capacity of innovation and learning, also it's different for the employee management and motivation methods. Therefore, traditional motivation theories and practice can't be totally suitable for typical electronic commercial enterprises.This paper will start from the traditional motivation theories, and introduce the motivation practice in Dangdang.com, then conclude how to set-up the motivation system in electronic commercial enterprises.Firstly, it's salary drive. Salary drive also named monetary motivation, which classifies short term motivation, middle term motivation and long term motivation by the time, which also can be divided into base salary, bonus, welfare, subsidy, allowance and stock options, and so on.Secondly, it's work and development motivation. Work or task can make people feel satisfaction and motivation, such as fair performance appraisal, authorization, challenge work and participating management and so on. On the other hand, vacation training, providing career plan also can motivate employees.At last, it's diversity motivation. There is a big difference among personal demands, and the key motivation method is how to verify the personal demands and perform personal motivation.This paper combines the practice and the traditional theories, bring forward the suitable employee motivation system. And this paper insists that the first thing is people orientation, then is the usage of many effective motivation methods, so we can increase the enthusiasm, and create more wealth for the corporate and society.In addition, this paper sets up Dangdang as the example, and provides the case study for the electronic business enterprise. The motivation system of Dangdang is made up of four modules: salary motivation, welfare motivation, development motivation and environment motivation, and provide the improving method for other companies via the analysis of different motivation's success and shortage. Anyway, there always has the precondition, condition and extension; we need different solution for different problems. And hope this paper can do something for the motivation of electronic commercial enterprises.
