| In the developed European & North American countries, yacht has been popular for a long time and gets very close to normal families just like automobile, although it is a kind of luxury entertainment product. China is an emerging country with fast economic developing rate, where yacht industry just started to develop. At this moment more and more Chinese become interested in yacht, the demand for yacht consumption is increasing year by year. In the coastal cities, some local governments have taken yacht economics as an important part of their developing plan. It is worth for us to study and understand the situation of China yacht market and do research to find a way to improve its competitive power.This paper analyzes the current situation of Yacht industry both in China and abroad, discusses about their development strategies, it has practical meaning in searching for potential business opportunities in China Yacht markets. It analyzes and illustrates internal & external environment, demand & supply of China Yacht industry. Basis on studying yacht design and manufacturing technology level as well as equipment industry, taking yacht industry in Pearl-Delta district as an example , analyzes development situation, advantages, disadvantages, challenges and opportunities of yacht industry in that area so as to bring up some suggestion on development strategies of yacht industry.The first and the second paragraph are discussing about reasons of bringing forward this topic, and introduce research methods, theories and relevant articles. Then reviews the road of yacht industry in China by Diamond Model, analyzes European & American countries' yacht economics. The last three paragraph are focusing on Pearl-Delta, with Diamond Model digging into yacht industry current development situation, looking for what are the challenges and opportunities.
