With the economic globalization and the rapid development of science and technology, it's difficult for the company to gain competitive advantage alone with their own limited resources and R&D strength in the increasingly competitive market. If the companies want to survive and develop, they must constantly innovate to make it unique competitive advantage. In our country, SMEs play a rather important position and role in national economic development. It is not only an important growth point but also created a large number of job opportunities and technology innovation. With the acceleration of the process of economic globalization and China's accession to the "WTO", SMEs are faced with more opportunities and challenges. If you want to improve the market competitiveness of small and medium enterprises, it is necessary to enhance the technology SMEs Innovative performance.So far, most scholars agree that social capital for enterprises have a positive impact in technological innovation, however, the mechanism that social capital impact on technological innovation performance is still no conclusion. The studies faced on SMEs are Still less.This article studies the relation between social capital and SMEs' technological innovation performance, make knowledge acquisition and absorption capacity as middle variable. In order to explain the mechanism that social capital impact on SMEs' technological innovation performance, this article presents a series of assumptions on the basis of the existing theory, make an investigation through the questionnaire in the form of more than 170 small and medium enterprises. At last, this article make the end result:SMEs social capital have a positive promotion role in the technological innovation, through the acquisition and the ability to absorption of knowledge.
