Yiyang Power Plant Employee Incentive Program Design

With the deep reformation of electric power system and the continuous rise of coal price, the competition between coal power plants is increasingly intense and the pressure of operation and management is more and more strong. As the big power plant in Hunan province, Yiyang Power Plant faces the same problem also. How to use the incentive policy to stimulate the enthusiasm, initiative and creativity of personnel is one of the difficult and important problems during the operation and management process of Yiyang Power Plant.To solve this problem, it is necessary to investigate, analyze and evaluate thoroughly about exist incentive policy of Yiyang Power Plant and find solutions. This thesis reported the main problems of exist incentive policy about the salary and promotion by questionnaire survey. And it found out the answers for the problems of exist incentive policy of Yiyang Power Plant. By the analysis and following the development strategy of the plant, it provides the solution to re-scheme the incentive policy with the best scientific and reasonable scheme. It provides safeguard measures furthermore for the feasibility and workability of the scheme.According to the study: Exist incentive policy of Yiyang Power Plant is apparently not suitable to its operation and development. If reformation and re-scheme in incentive policy will not be done, it will stand rigorous test in the generating market for the next round of competition. The solution provided in this thesis overcomes the emotiveness and casualness of traditional ones, and make the scheme workable. The method and result of the study in this thesis will be good for improving the core competency of Hunan Yiyang Power Plant, and for enhancing the sense of being the master of one's own affair of personnel, arousing their enthusiasm to service for the operation and management of the plant.
