Based On 3s Xi'an, Environment-friendly Land Use Evaluation Studies

Human activities are constantly changing the Earth's ecosystems. Its impact on the environment is mainly reflected on the impact of land-use change. Each change in land-use will cause a range of resources, environment and socio-economic problems. Especially in the recent 10 years, with the huge increase of population and the rapid development of technology, the speed of land-use is accelerated. The resources and environment problems caused by the change of land-use come into the attention of human beings, which in turn promotes the environment friendly land-use style.Xi'an, an inland city of china is the political, economic and cultural center of Shaanxi Province and has a unique geographical advantage. The rapid economic development, population growth, urbanization and industrialization of Xi'an influenced the land-use very much which in turn impacted the development of Xi'an. So how to coordinate land and environmental protection and industrialization, urbanization, industrial structure adjustment becomes an important subject on land use. Therefore, the study of Xi'an city's temporal and spatial changes in land use to explore the Xi'an environment-friendly land-use model will help scientific and reasonable planning of land-use and sustainable development very much.In this study, the use of GIS software and remote sensing data will be combined with statistical data processing. We processed 2000 and 2007 remote sensing image with the use of ERDAS and ArcGIS software to classify and interpret them to produce maps of land use of Xi'an. According to the dynamic land use matrix, we analyzed the number, space structure, the extent, change and the type of multi-index of land-use to find out the problems in land-use on one hand. On the other hand, we establish the criteria of environment-friendly mode of land-use evaluation, use SPSS software to process the use of SPSS software, use AHP method to value each criteria and calculate the environment-friendly land use level of Xi'an. We come to the environment-friendly land-use patterns according to the previous analysis and evaluation of the situation.(1) The land-use structure changed a lot from 2000 to 2007. Arable land, urban land and garden changed relatively more. Arable land decreased 17.90%. Urban land increased 57.51%. Garden increased 29.02%. Forest had increased as a result of returning farmland to forest policy and some arable land changed into forest land. Grassland, unused land and other land-use types are reduced in various degrees. (2) As to the degree of land-use, the land-use change value of Xi'an is 9.07 from 2000 to 2007, it still in the development period. But this situation is not optimistic, because the land use index increased mainly due to the construction land, whose classification index for is 4 sites, increased year after year, and agricultural land and unused land in the area of the substantial reduction in this period in reducing the potential for land development.(3) The spatial analysis showed that the lager frequency and important indices of the major types of land-use change in Xi'an from 2000 to 2007: urban land use change from cultivated land, cultivated land changed into woodland, unused land changed into cultivated land, woodland changed into cultivated land and urban land changed into cultivated land, and these important index are as follows: 54.48%, 18.88%, 16.65%, 14.86% and 10.03%, on land-use change in Xi'an the main directions of land for urban expansion encroached upon and cultivated land, while woodland and cultivated land, cultivated land and unused land had transformed in different locations.(4) The level of environmentally friendly land-use of the study area was fluctuating upward trend from 2000 to 2007, which rise from 0.37 to 0.58. According to the grade level standards of environmentally friendly land-use, the environmentally friendly land-use level from lower stages in 2000 up to the middle phase in 2007. Although the environmentally friendly land-use levels of Xi'an is gradually increase, but it is still only at the middle level of the initial stage, which we also need a reasonable land use and resource utilization of continuous improvement, the establishment of Xi'an, environment-friendly land-use patterns.(5) The environmentally friendly land-use model of Xi'an is divided into three kinds, agricultural land-use patterns, industrial land-use patterns and urban land-use patterns. This paper proposed four Suggestions, such as we should strengthen environmental management to control the environmental pollution; optimize the structure of urban land use and give a good planning to land use; mine the stock of city land to improve its utilization; improve the land laws and policies.The innovations of this paper are as follow: (1) This paper extracted three indices models, NDBI, MNDWI, NDVI bands to stack the layers ,which is conducive to the improvement of classification accuracy;(2) We used remote sensing image interpretation data to various angles analysis temporal and spatial dynamics of land-use change from various angles between 2000-20 07 in Xi'an;(3) this paper established a more complete environment-friendly land-use evaluation index system, in this indicator system, including land-use state, the reasonableness of environment resources, the feasibility of economy development and the acceptability of society. Finally, we used this integrated model evaluated the environment-friendly land-use level of Xi'an; (4) used Inverse distance weighting, one way of GIS spatial interpolations, to approach statistical data, and this paper intuitively expressed part of environment-friendly indices' change from time and space ultimately.
