With the deepening of reformation and opening-up, construction market is more and more competitive. In the fierce bidding competition,project contractor's profits have become very limited on the construction phase, enter the low-profit stage basically.Contractor must make an in-depth research about how to strengthen cost management on the construction phase.No.4 Engineering Corporation Limited of CR20G under the administration of the SASAC is a large-scale construction enterprises, after years of development, although there have been cost management experiences,but ,with the arrival of low-profit stage, Some of the original cost management experiences are difficult to adapt to the new situation, the original cost management system needs to make more adjustments.This paper studies the issue that No.4 Engineering Corporation Limited of CR20G needs to solve at prime tense.Based on project cost management's basic theory,this paper analyzes the actualities and issues of project cost management about No.4 Engineering Corporation Limited. Based on this theory and practice , combined with the actual instance of Tianshui project, establishes cost management system suited for Tianshui project and a set of measures about objective and responsibility cost control ,creates a number of effective and material measures about cost control.The project's research results settle a series of problems about our corporation's project cost management existed in the past, improve greatly the cost management level of Tianshui project ,achieve the goal of cost control, and obtain the anticipative profits; at the same time the research results can be for reference in the other projects of our orporation and project management of other companies .
