Social Transformation Of Rural Old-age Mode Choice

At present, China is experiencing a rapid social transformation, making great strides forward by the traditional seal's agricultural society to the modern open industrial society gradually. Along with the intensifying step of social transformation, China is not rich before the old has taken shape because of the aging population and the advanced age population growing. At the same time, rural tradition family retirement pattern has been hit and has shown weakening tendency continuously, but the farmer social retirement pattern is paul problematic, the new one just begins to develop and in the exploration stage, can not able to undertake the heavy burden of rural retirement completely during the period of social transition.So there is an urgent need to choose retirement pattern in line with the development situation of socio-economic and cultural in rural to solve the more and more serious problem of retirement during the social transition time, which is the focus of this paper to explore. This article is divided into the following five main sections:The first part is an introduction, the main topics of this part discusses the background and significance of why select this title, research status in domestic and foreign, research objectives and methods as well as possible innovations of this title.The second part has overviewed the social transition and the retirement pattern in rural, has make definite about concepts of social reforming, retirement pattern and so on, and describes the development history of rural retirement pattern in China, gets the relationship between the social transition and the retirement pattern, obtains that the rural social transformation is a factor embedded in rural retirement and is an important variable to affect the choice of rural retirement pattern.The third part analyzes that the factors of the authoritative status of the rural elderly to drop, the labor force mobility to intensify, the family size and structure to change, generation of border to incline and filial piety culture to decline and so on to lead to the supply of traditional family retirement weakened, cannot save the situation by itself. However, the community retirement and the social retirement are also congenitally deficient and micro function. All those lead to the countryside retirement besetting with difficulties, so we must create the rural retirement pattern to deal with the aged crisis.The fourth part compared the cost and income of the three existing rural retirement pattern, compared the safeguards effect of the three by field research simultaneously, and then analyzed the sustainable development conditions of countryside retirement pattern. The research indicated that the family retirement has the advantages of cost small,income large and safeguard effect good and conforms to the development tendency of countryside retirement demand in line with very strong vitality, which is the main body of rural old-age in the social reforming time. The community retirement has certain effect in the aspects of care and spirit consolation to overcome some limitations of the family retirement. The social retirement has nothing effect in the endowment care and spiritual comfort in life, but has a great superiority in the aspect of economical support. Therefore, facing the reality that any kind of retirement pattern can not completely undertake the heavy burden of countryside retirement calmly, to develop the retirement pattern of family retirement as the main body, the community retirement for auxiliary, the social retirement for the supplement is a rational and realistic choice to the development situation of rural socio-economic and cultural during the social reforming time.The fifth part is the policy proposals for developing the rural retirement pattern in the social transformation time. In the face of traditional family retirement weakening, this article proposed that we must expand the family retirement pattern forms and develop the new socialized family retirement pattern, consolidate the main body status of family retirement by promoting family retirement socialization through increased efforts to support and benefit agriculture, poverty-relief, development paid domestic service, pension services, training institutions, and improve and other measures. At the same time, fully discover, integrate and mobilize the within and outside community resources to develop community retirement vigorously. Finally, based on the new agricultural insurance, improve rural social endowment for the ultimate development goal of rural old-age model in the future by increasing government financial support, improving the legal system, strengthening the supervision of funds, expanding investment channels resources, building rural endowment resources and other measures. These three are the integral parts of Chinese rural old-age security in the social transformation time, therefore, should coordinate each other and supplement mutually, play the role of retirement safeguard, undertake the heavy responsibility of countryside retirement together and make the rural elderly to have a comfortable old age.
