The Development Of Retirement Economy

The coordinated development of urban and rural economy has long been an important and perplexing problem of China's economic and social development.After entering the 21 st century,China's social economy has achieved rapid development,and the urbanization process has been accelerating.The urbanization rate has increased rapidly from 36.2% in 2000 to 60.6% in 2019.The advancement of urbanization has released huge development space for China's economic and social development.However,in the process of urbanization,a large number of rural labor force and social and economic development resources have been flowing to cities irreversibly for a long time,which supports the development of cities and also leads to the depression of rural economic and social development.The long-term lack of vitality in rural economic and social development,the hollowing out of the population,the gap of labor force,and the sluggish industry have seriously restricted the sustainable development of rural economic and social development.Since 2000,China has attached great importance to the development of rural economy and society,and has issued a series of policies and guiding opinions for the development of rural economy and society,which have promoted the development of rural economy and society to a certain extent.However,the fundamental problems existing in the development of rural economy have not been solved and the current situation of increasingly depressed rural areas has not been reversed.In 2017,the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China put forward the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy,which has become an important guidance for China's rural economic and social development in the new era.However,after decades of outflow of resources,the basic elements of economic and social development are no longer sufficient to support the overall revitalization of the rural areas in the short term.Exploring the inflow of rural economic and social resources has become an urgent problem for rural revitalization.Retirement itself is a way for the scholar-bureaucrat class to pursue self-value realization in our traditional culture.It has far-reaching historical origin and cultural details in our traditional culture.In the new era,with the continuous changes of information technology and social culture,although the retirement culture has begun to fade out,the ideal and feelings of the people who have achieved success in pursuing relaxation of their own spirit and re-realization of their own values still exist.In the process of urbanization,with the continuous expansion of the city,the continuous accumulation of production and living resources,and the continuous increase of population,the “metropolis' disease” with environmental pollution,traffic congestion,and the decline of quality of life as the core has emerged continuously,making the living space of the city continuously smaller,the living environment continuously deteriorating,and the living pressure continuously rising.Some people began to get tired of the mechanical,numb and busy life in the city,hoping to seek a relatively elegant living environment.The urban population voluntarily or involuntarily began to expect to flow to the countryside,pursuing a leisurely lifestyle,beautiful living environment and elegant quality of life in the countryside.They became practitioners of the retirement culture in the new era and gave new meaning to the traditional retirement culture in our country.At the same time,the “retirement” of some urban people has opened a new channel for the flow of urban resources to the countryside,provided a new path for the coordinated development of urban and rural economy and society,and became an important support for the overall revitalization of the countryside in the new era.From the perspective of economics,this paper thinks about the retirement culture and the development of urban and rural economy and society.Taking the relationship between urban and rural economic development as the breakthrough point,it puts forward a new path to coordinate the relationship between urban and rural economic development-retirement economy,deeply studies the theoretical framework and connotation of retirement economy,and defines the definition connotation of retirement economy.This paper analyzes the main economic development forms in the current relationship between urban and rural economic development,combines the connotation of retired culture in Chinese traditional culture,explores the origin of retirement economy,depicts the necessity of retirement economy and the social,cultural and economic support.Supported by the definition of retirement economy,In light of the reality of urban and rural economic development,Using game theory related theories and models,this paper depicts the model in the process of retirement economy development and the internal relationship between various subjects involved in retirement economic development,and based on the results of empirical analysis,explores the realistic path of retirement economic development,providing a new path and direction for the coordination of urban and rural economic development.
