Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are important force to national economic and social development, and the government pays more and more attention to encouraging the development of SMEs. In recent years, the government introduced several policies which are related to supporting the development of SMEs. With the increasing of policy supporting, it is important and necessary to do some researches to the thesis how policy supporting influences the performance of SMEs.Through random sample investigation and research study on the SMEs, the paper uses the method of empirical analysis to analyze and demonstrate the relationship of policy supporting and performance of SMEs. This paper is mainly composed of several aspects as follows:Firstly, the paper reviews different types of policy supporting and the relationship between policy supporting and performance of SMEs, which gives the direction of the paper.Secondly, the writer designs the survey questionnaire and scale. According to research data from the survey research to SEMs, it uses analysis of variance to analyze the relationship of policy supporting and performances of SMEs.Thirdly, According to the research data, the paper uses structure equation model to analyze the cause of how policy supporting impacts the performance of SMEs. The paper establishes a certain model, and then adjusts the original model. According to amendment of the model, it analyzes the relationship between policy supporting and performances of SMEs.Finally, Basing on theoretical research and empirical analysis, the paper summarizes relevant countermeasures to improve the performance of SMEs, and states the direction to improve the performance of SMEs from the perspective of policy supporting system.
