Unit system is China's political system and social system part. With the deepening of reform and opening up, China's social system has undergone profound changes, the market economy gradually replace the planned economy. In this process, the reform of state-owned enterprises has made great achievements, but at the same time, work and life of the enterprise workers had influenced a lot. This study tries to show the life changes of state-owned enterprise workers which could reflect their influences under the dissolution of their impaction system of units, through the description of their basic work and life from the twentieth sixties to present.The study sample is Z Factory, Kunming, Yunnan. The study tries to explain the reasons of their changes, through show their work and life by use the method of qualitative research which is from observation and unstructured interviews. The research has found that the state-owned enterprise workers have changed a lot at work attitude, career planning, entertainment,ect. At the same time, their social status has decreased, their income has reduced. And the research has also found that they have lost the sense of belonging to the enterprise and they've not worked hard anymore. The research thinks that this phenomenon is from the changes in the social hierarchy and the slow pace of enterprise culture. The important of this research is to provide a reasonable basis to improve the current status of the working class.
