Objective: Of music therapy and biofeedback therapy for treatment of depression Freshmen effect of scale through the determination of mental problems and urinary cortisol index change, and expounded on music and biofeedback therapy for depression, psychological and biological mechanisms. Methods: UPI used to filter on the whole school freshmen from the Class I and II students, the students were selected according to the diagnosis of depression, and 90 were randomly selected for the study. Subjects were divided into musical group (30 cases), bio-feedback group (30 cases), music, biofeedback combined group (30 cases) were carried out three groups of music therapy, biofeedback therapy, biofeedback music combined. Treatment before, during and after the three groups have carried SCL-90 scale, SDS scale assessment, treatment before and after the determination of urinary cortisol levels. Biofeedback group, music, biofeedback combined group before and after treatment EEG, EMG determination. Results: The results show that: a college freshmen depression prevalence was 7.5%.After treatment, three groups of SCL-90 scale, SDS scale scores and urinary cortisol concentrations were lower than before treatment, the difference was significant (P <0.01). Three groups, the music combined score of biofeedback in the treatment group and most obvious difference was statistically significant (P <0.01). Biofeedback group, music group combined EEG biofeedback (EEG) baseline after treatment than before treatment, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.01), and the two groups mean EMG values were lower than the minimum treatment Before treatment, the difference was significant ( < 0.01);combined EEG biofeedback in the treatment group baseline value, EMG biofeedback group lower than the apparent. Three groups after treatment than before treatment decreased cortisol levels, music, biofeedback combined urinary cortisol concentration decreased the most obvious. Conclusion: Music therapy, biofeedback therapy, biofeedback therapy combined music students can improve depressive symptoms, and music combined biofeedback therapy improved most significantly.
