Anle Tablets Combining EEG Biofeedback Treatment To Liver Stagnation And Spleen Deficiency Type Of Depression Curative Effect Observation

Purpose: the purpose of this thesis is to cure the liver-stagnation and spleen deficiency syndrome by means of EEG biofeedback therapy, in this process, the Chinese tradition medicine Anle tablets which are derived from Xiaoyao San will be adopted for purpose of soothing the liver and nourishing blood spleen. Based on the clinic observation, the author intends to expound and prove if the therapeutic effect of the clinic group is better than that of comparative groups I, II, III, IV so as to formulate a superior and modern therapeutic regimen via Chinese traditional medicine to direct the clinic therapy. Methods: In the clinic experiments, 150 patients were randomly selected and evenly divided into five groups, namely, 30 patients per group:Clinic group: the 30 patients will be cured by means of EEG biofeedback therapy incombination with Anle tablets;Comparative group I: the 30 patients will be cured vide Venlafaxine Hcl in combinationwith EEG biofeedback therapy;Comparative group II: the 30 patients will be cured vide Anle tables only;Comparative group III: the 30 patients will be cured vide Venlafaxine Hcl only;Comparative group IV: the 30 patients will be cured by means of EEG biofeedbacktherapy only; As for the application of Anle tables, Venlafaxine Hcl and EEG biofeedback instrument, it’s described as follows:Anle Tablets(manufactured by QIYUN Pharmaceuticals Co., Ltd, Si Chuan Province,registered code of state is Z10983135): the patients took the said medicine three times perday, in the first three days, the dosage should be 0.6g each time, after then, the dosagewill increase to 1.2g per time. Such application continued for one month;Venlafaxine Hcl(manufactured by KANGHONG Pharmaceuticals Co., Ltd, Si ChuanProvince, registered code of state is H19980051): in the first three days, the patients tookthe said medicine twice per day, the dosage should be 25 mg each time, after then, thepatients took the said medicine three times per day, the dosage for the morning andmidday will increase to 50 mg per time, at night, the dosage reduced to 25 mg. Suchapplication continued for one month;EEG biofeedback therapy: the patients were cured by means of the EEG biofeedbackinstrument for 30 minutes per day. Aforesaid five groups of patients were respectively cured via various therapeutic methodologies for one month, the author compared and analyzed the therapeutic effect of the clinic group with that of the comparative groups Results: the therapeutic effect of the 150 patients were analyzed through statistics as below: After analyzing the ages, genders, SDS, HAMD, TESS, symptom, and brainwave activities of the 150 patients pre-therapy and post-treatment, the author found that judging from the SDS B.O, the general effective rate of clinic group is 96.67%, and the rates for comparative groups I, II, III and IV were respectively 90.00%, 90.00%, 83.34% and 3.34%, from which the author concluded that the effective rate of clinic group in this regard is almost the same as that of the comparative group I, but better than the other three comparative groups; judging from the HAMD B.Q, the general effective rate of clinic group is 100%, and the rates for comparative groups I, II, III and IV were respectively 90%, 83.34%, 80.00% and 3.34%, from which the author concluded that the effective rate of clinic group in this regard is almost the same as that of the comparative group I, but better than the other three comparative groups; judging from the symptom by means of Chinese traditional medicines, the general effective rate of clinic group is 93.33%, and the rates for comparative groups I, II, III and IV were respectively 96.67%, 73.33%, 70.00% and 6.67%, from which the author concluded that the effective rate of clinic group in this regard is almost the same as that of the comparative group I, but much better than the other three comparative groups; in respect of TESS, both the clinic group and comparative group II adopted Anle tablets, and no adverse reaction emerged in the whole process, by contrast, the adverse reaction took place in the patients from comparative groups I and III in the preliminary therapeutic phase, in view above, the author drew up the conclusion that therapeutic effect of clinic group is superior to that of the comparative groups in terms of the security; with reference to the brainwave activities, the therapeutic effect of clinic group is superior to that of the comparative groups I and IV. Conclusion: the author proceeded from the therapy of integrated Chinese and western medicines and cured the depression symptom by means of soothing the liver and nourishing the blood via Anle tablets and EEG biofeedback therapy; the study of clinic therapy indicates that the combination of Anle tablets and EEG biofeedback therapy could apparently ease the depression symptom of the patients and improve their cognitive thinking state. According to the clinic observation made by the author, it’s found that the application of Anle tablets won’t cause toxic and side effect to the patients; on the contrary, it could invigorate the spleen and strengthen the stomach. Generally speaking, the combination of Anle tablets and EEG biofeedback therapy is highly reliable and feasible, which deserves our further study and research.
