| Chronic atrophic gastritis(CAG).gastric ulcer(GU)both are common and multi-occurred diseases clinically. My teacher Yuan hongxia uses replenishing Qi and strengthening spleen, promoting blood circulation to remove blood stasis as basic principle of treatment to treat these two kinds of diseases with Wei Er Hao Fang(WEHF)clinically. In this study, the CAG,GU models of rats were made, and treated with WEHF ,then we observed WEHF's effecting, changing situations of Motilin(MTL), Gastrin(Gas), Somatostatin-producing D- cells of gastric mucosa, Transforming growth factor-a (TGF-a) to reveal its mechanism of the therapeutic action. The results showed that WEHF can improve the pathological situation of gastric mucosa of both CAG and GU models of rats. It's effective mechanisms probably include: I. After treating CAG model of rats: It can lower plasma MTL level, rise serum Gastrin level, increase Somatostatin-producing 0-cells of gastric mucosa, lower serum TGF-a level, thus can accelebrate stomach emptying, increase secretion of gastric acid, improve blood flow of gastric mucosa, promote regeneration of gastric mucosa, inhibit hyperactive hyperplasia, make gastric mucosa recover. 2. After treating GU model of rats: It can lower plasma MTL and serum Gastrin level, decrease somatostatin-producing 0-cells of gastric mucosa, rise serum TGF-a level, thus accelebrate stomach emptying, inhibit secretion of gastric acid, improve blood flow of gastric mucosa, make ulcer recover. This study vertified that WEHF has regulating function to MTL, Gas, TGF-a, somatostatin-producing 0-cells of gastric mucosa, and provided a basic treating method and herbs for treating CAG,GU in clinic. At the meanwhile, it also offered a effective treating method and herbs for the patient who have both CAG and GU. |
