| AbstractObjective:To evaluate the effect of YT in treating acute cerebral infarction and its mechanism.Method:1)Clinical Study using single-blinded, control trical, patients are treated with YT, and simultaneously a comparison is made between YT and Xiao Shuan Tong (XST in brief ,control group). Clinical efficacy and neurological severity scores are observed.2)Jn Experimental Study ,rats model of middle cerebral artery occlusion was produced by silicone cylinder and nylon suture enbolization , after being modeled , The rats are randomly divided into six group . They are treated with large , middle and low dosages of YT and a comparison is made between YT and XST. The following index is determined and observed :the content of rats plasma endothelin (ET)and the plasma calatonin gene-related peptid (CGRP) and the rats neurological severity scores.Results:l)The clinical efficacy and nervous functional deficit scores are significantly different (p<0. 05) between YT group and XST group.2) Experimental Study showed that all of XST group and every YT dosage froup could ameliorate the neurological severity scores of the cerebral ischemia rats , especially the effect of large and middle dosage of YT is superior to the other groups . The large and middle dosage of YT can markedly decrease the production of plasma endothelin (ET)and markedly increase the level of plasma calcitonin gene梤elate peptide(CGRP)the effect is superior to that of XSL.Conclusion:l)the YT to treat acute cerebral infarction is effective and safe.2)the Pharmaceutical mechanisms may be associated with regulating the level of plasma ET and CGRP.3)YT is of dose-dependent therapeutic effect which is superior to that of XST. |
