Experimental Research And Theoretical Discussion Of The Treatment Of Type Ii Diabetes Of The The Stilbene Refined Sugar Granule

Type II diabetes(non-insulin-dependent diabetes) is one of the common endocrine diseases which causes more and more attention because the world wide increasing of the morbidity. It is our advantage to prevent and treat type II diabetes with TCM. According to TCM theory, ancient and modem literature, combined with TCM mordem research, we think that qi and yin deficiency of type II diabetes is mainly qi and yin deficiency of spleen, the blood stasis is a potential pathogenesis, qi and yin and blood stasis are the important transformation of pathogenesis. According to this pathogenic characteristic, we use the method of strengthen qi, nourishing yin and activating blood circulation as a main therapeutic method. So we select herbs that can strengthen qi, nourishing yin and activating blood circulation, reduce blood sugar, and improve fat metabolism and micro-circulation, such as Radix Astragali seu Hedysari, Rhizoma Polygonati, Rhizoma Dioscoreae, Radix Puerariae, Radix Trichosanthis, Semen Litchi to consist the Radix Astragali seu Hedysari and Rhizoma Polygonati Granule for Reducing Blood Sugar, and did a preliminary experimental research.. We tried to find the mechanism of type II diabetes treated by the granule, search for new thinking and effective prescription for type II diabetes, so as to enrich the research and treatment method of 1CM and emphasize the importance of qi and yin deficiency accompany with blood stasis in this disease. The experiment indicated that this granule can improve the loss of body weight, abnormal of glucose tolerance, and reduce square under the AUC of diabetic rat caused by STZ. Improving index of fat metabolism, such as decrease CHO, TO and LGL level of blood, increase HDL and insulin level of blood, reduce blood MDA, repair the damaged ~ -cell of islets of pancreas. It also has obvious effects to improve the loss of body weight and decrease of tolerance of diabetic mice, and reduce fasting blood-glucose level caused by ALX, and improve the abnormal of micro-circulation. This research has important theoretical meaning and practical value because it deepen the TCM understanding of the diabetes pathogenesis, and it is helpful to find effective herbs and prescriptions to treat diabetes.
