With the development of tumor hyperthermia ,percutaneous radiofrequency ablation has become a new way in treating tumors. Especially in treating lung tumors, percutaneous radiofrequency ablation is staying in begainning state. During the period of the treatment, the mechanism of tumor remnants, the influence of radiofrequency ablation to host immune system and the ways of the anti-tumor immune activity are not adequately verified. Through the establishment of VX2 tumor model in the lung of Newzealand white rabbit, we observe and evaluate: (1) the changes of vital signs of tumor bearing rabbit pre and post the therapy. (2) the changes of expression index of HSP70 in VX2 tumor and nomal lung tissues around tumors (3) the changes of soluble interleukin-2 receptor level. Draw conclusions as follow:(l)Through the observation of vital signs, tumor bearing rabbit can tolerate radiofrequency ablation. The therapy is believed to be safe and realiable.(2) After ablation, the increasing expression of HSP70 in tumors may be one of causes which lead to tumor remnants.(3)The increasing expression of HSP70 in nomal lung tissues may be a self-protecting mechanism by which lung tissues can escape from hot injury.(4) Through the observation of sIL-2R level and therapeutic effect, radiofrequency ablation can stimulate host immune system, as well as improve the anti-tumor immune activity.(5) After the therapy, the increasing expression of HSP70 in tumors may be one of ways by which radiofrequency ablation can stimulate host immue system.
