The Research Of Interleukin-33and Soluble ST2Expression In Vitreous Humor And Serum Of Proliferative Diabetic Retinopathy And Proliferative Vitroretinopathy

ObjectivesTo explore the effect of interleukin-33/sST2in the pathogenesis of proliferative diabetic retinopathy and proliferative vitroretinopathy by detecting the concentration of IL-33/sST2in serum and vitreous humor of PDR and PVR.Methods1、The vitreous humor obtained from20patients with PDR (PDR group) and20patients with PVR (PVR group) and15patients with IMH (IMH group) undergoing vitreoretinal surgery is currently used to explore the concentrations of IL-33/sST2by ELISA.2、The serum of the20patients with PDR (PDR group) and20patients with PVR (PDR group), and17patients with NPDR (NPDR group) and15healthy donors (healthy group) were collected. The level of serum IL-33/sST2were detected by ELISA.Results1、IL-33concentration of vitreous humor in PDR group、PVR group、IMH group are12.87±3.13pg/ml、39.87±4.96pg/ml、15.09±3.50 pg/ml respectively. The concentration of IL-33/sST2in PDR group is lower than the IMH group, with no significant difference (p>0.05). The concentration of IL-33in PVR group is higher than the IMH group, and there is significant difference between them (p<0.05).2、sST2concentration of vitreous humor in PDR group、PVR group、 IMH group are:65.07±6.53pg/ml、70.53±5.82pg/ml、60.46±5.52pg/ml respectively. The concentration of sST2in PDR group and PVR group are both higher than the IMH group(P<0.05).3、IL-33concentration of serum in PVR、PDR、NPDR and healthy group are54.58±14.06pg/ml、22.19±7.94pg/ml、25.58±8.92pg/ml、27.00±9.08pg/ml respectively.The PDR and NPDR group is lower than the healthy group(P>0.05).The PDR group is lower than the NPDR group (P>0.05). The PVR group is higher than the healthy group.(P<0.05).4、sST2concentration of serum in PVR、PDR、NPDR and healthy group are125.30±8.30pg/ml、95.57±8.25pg/ml、86.40±6.34pg/ml、67.70±9.40pg/ml respectively. The PDR group and the NPDR group were higher than the healthy group (P<0.05), the PDR group is higher than NPDR group (P<0.05), the PVR group is higher than others(P<0.05).Conclusions1、sST2is likely to related to the inflammation pathogenesis of PDR.2、The concentrations of IL-33/sST2in serum and vitreous humor in PVR groups are higher than those in control groups. It may be involve in the process of PVR.3、IL-33/sST2play an important role in inflammatory responses and may be involved in the pathogenesis of PDR and PVR.
