PURPOSE : To study the efffect and security of Chinese Herb composition (named by QIANLIEAN powder) on chronic prostatitis of dampness-heat and blood stasis. METHODS : The study adopts random and double-blind clinic method. Patients that conform to the conditions can be selected. Doctors give the patients medicine according to sequence of patients coming to hospital and arrange the patient to the group of cure or the group of comparison. The study need four weeks The patient must go back to hospital at the end of two weeks and four weeks, so that the doctor can learn the conditions of patients and give them medicine of next period. RESULT : In the group that is treated, the rate of cure is 15.6%, great efficiency is 29%, some efficiency is 34.5%,no effect is 21.9%,total effiency 78.1%.In the group of comparison, the rate of cure is 0%, great efficiency is3.3%, some efficiency is 23.3%,no effect is 73.3%, total effiency 26.7%. CONCLUSINS: QIANLIEAN powerd can greatly improve symptom of Patients.
