| OBJECTIVETo investigate in clinical efficacy of treatment with integrated traditional Chinese Herbs and western medicine for patients with Lupus Nephritis(LN). Toexplore whether the curative effect of combiling traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment in LN is better than that of pure western medicine treatment. METHODS112 patients with LN wen; ussayed,which comerised 2 groups: treat group(58cases)were treated with Cytoxan(CTX),Prednisone and Chinese medicinal herbs; the control group (54cascs)were treated with only western medicine. The therapeutic period was six months, we assayed the changes of patients laboratoryresul ts, such as 24hupq, ALB, ESR,C5 ,Scr , B2~MG of the blood and urinary . Recorded the change of patieuts clinical symptoms. RESULT Result of the study could be summarized as:1 The total effective rate of treat group was 04. 83%, while control group was75. 93%, the total therapeutic effect of treat group was better than that of control group (p<0. 05).2 Both of the two kinds of trcament could improve the patients ALB, ESR, C3,Scr, B2~MG of the blood . the effects of treat group was better than control group (p<0. 05,or p<0. 01) .3 The effect in improving 24hupq , B2~MG of the urinary of treat group was superior to that of the control group (p<0. 01 or p<0. 05).4 The adverse reactive rate of treat group was lower than that of the control group (p<0. 05)CONCLUSIONintegrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment isobviously superior to treatment with western medicine in increasingtherapeutic effect, improving laboratory result, relieving adversereactive and decreasing recurrence rate. |
