Clinical Study Of Acupuncture In The Treatment Of Simple Obesity With Immediate Effect And Long-term Efficacy

Research objective:Discuss the function mechanism and instantaneous effect, long-dated effect on simple obesity by acupuncture-moxibustion treatment. Research methods:According to the principle of determination of treatment based on the differentiation of symptoms and signs, the paper observed 35 cases with simple obesity, treated with milli-needle and ear needle, watch instantaneous effect and three courses effect, watch the influence on patients' temperature, blood pressure, pulse, breath, quiet metabolism rate etc energy metabolism related index and weight, F%, body fat weight, thin body weight, biology resistance etc obesity index and serum liqid, FBS, INS, IAI, Leptin and plant nerves function by acupuncture treatment. Meanwhile, observed the relevant index of 25 normal people. And observed 32 cases with simple obesity after one year, observed the influence on patient' weight, sebum fat thickness, skinfold thickness etc obesity index by acupuncture treatment. Result:The result showed that after 30 minutes treatment, patient' weight, body fat rate, body fat weight, biology resistance etc obesity index descended obviously, and temperature, pulse, breath, quiet metabolism rate etc energy metabolism related index ascended obviously, thin body weight etc obesity index ascended obviously; after three courses treatment, the total cure effective rate to the simple obesity was 88.57%, the acupuncture descended body weight, sebum fat thickness, skinfold thickness, BMI, F%, adiposity(A%), body fat weight, WHR on simple obesity, compared the data before the treatment obviously(P < 0.001,0.01,0.05),showed that acupuncture had good effect on weight reduction; before the acupuncture treatment, plant nerves function index Y of patients' were obviously lower than normal grou.p(P < 0.001), illustrate sympathetic nerve excitation was lower, parasympathetic nerve excitation was higher. After the acupuncture treatment, Y index had decreased obviously(P < 0.001), prompted that acupuncture had good regulation function on plant nerves function and energy metabolism function. Before the treatment, the patients' TG, TC, VLDL-C, LDL-C level and AI were all higher than normal group(P < 0.05,0.01,0.001),whereas HDL-C level was obviously lower than the normal group(P < 0.01). after the treatment, the patients' TG, TC, VLDL-C, LDL-C level and AI all decreased(P < 0.01,0.05) and HDL-C increased(P < 0.01), showed the acupuncture treatment had good effect on reducing serum lipid and arteriosclerosis. Before the treatment, patients were featured the high leptin and high Ins, compared with normal group P < 0.001,0.01, and patients' IAI was lower than the normal group(P < 0.01), acupuncture could cure high leptin and high Ins, sianificantly increasing IAI, before and after the treatment compared P < 0.01,0.05, showed acupuncture could better holdout high leptin and high Ins, and resist LR and IR; after acupuncture treatment end one year, patients' weight, skinfold thickness, sebum fat thickness obviously lower than before, there was significant statistics divergence(P < 0.001), prompted that acupuncture had long effect on weight reduction. Conclusion:Acupuncture treatment is one of the effective way to cure simple obesity, its function mechanism of instantaneous effect may through increasing energy expenditure on two ways, one of through increasing heart rate and quickening blood flow of acupuncture to increase myocardium work and expend energy, and one of through increasing febrifer of fat tissue; its function mechanism of shortdated effect may through good regulation of acupuncture on energy metabolism, plant nerves function, lipid metabolism, Leptin resist and Insulin resist, multi-way synthetically functioned to reach the weight reduction. And acupuncture has long-dated effect on weight reduction.
