| Objective:To observe the effects of Tiaomian-tuomin (TMTM) capsule in treating perennial allergic rhinitis.Methods: 60 perennial allergic rhinitis patients were selected, and divided them into treatment group(30 cases,take Tiaomian-tuomin orally) and controlled group(30 cases,take Xisimin orally).The amelioration conditions of clinical symptoms and signs were observed as well as the changes of immunity index(IL-2,IL-4 level in venous blood) and eosinophil (EOS) between pretreatment and post-treatment, which was compared with 10 healthy people.Results: ①The total effective rate is 96.67% in treatment group, they are 93.33% in controlled groups.There is no significance between them by statistics evaluation.②blood serum IL-2,IL-4 detemine: there is immunological disfunction in patients, manifestation as low IL-2 level and high IL-4 level,which compared with healthy group has significative difference(P＜0.01).There is significative difference in treatment group between pretreatment and post-treatment.The group treated by TMTM is better than controlled group ,there is significative difference between them(P＜0.01).After treatment ,there is no significative difference between the treatment group and healthy group.The counting evaluation of eosinophil in nasal discharge: By comparison within groups, there is significative difference between treatment group and controlled group both pretreatment and post-treatment,and there is no significative difference by comparison between groups.④The effect evaluation of TCM symptoms and signs:The treatment group, cure rate 56.67%,total rate of validity is 96.67%.Controlled group, cure rate 20.00%,total rate of validity is 33.33%.There is significative difference (P＜0.05) between two groups by statistics evaluation.⑤There was no apparent bad effect in treatment group.Conclusion:TMTM capsule is a sort of effective Chinese traditional medicine preparation to treat perennial allergic rhinitis,so it is good for spread. |
