Micro Differentiation of Syndromeshas expanded the vision of Four Diagnostic Methods, and is the deepeningand supplements of traditional differentiation methods in TCM.Researching on Micro differentiation of syndromes in TCM helps to thedevelopment of syndrome or symptom complex science. Using literature study method this paper gives a systematicexpatiation on the creation and development of Micro differentiationof syndromes in TCM, and it includes four parts: The first part is the overview of Micro differentiation ofsyndromes in TCM. In this part the concept of Micro differentiationof syndromes in TCM is put forward. Some concepts about Macrodifferentiation of syndromes such as symptom,disease,differentiationare also made clear, especially, the concept of symptoms in TCM isexpounded by citing contentions of many schools to briefly show thedifference and the relationship between Macro and Microdifferentiation of syndromes, and also be a preparation for its correctcomprehension afterwards. The second part introduces the creation of Micro differentiationof syndromes in detail from two aspects, one is from the study of socialbackground, and the other is from the study of theory basis.
