Objective:To research the factors of diabetic retinopathy(DR) and explore the relationship between them. Method:A total of 108 type-2 diabetic patients were randomly selected from routine ophthalmologic consultation of the Second affiliated hospital of Xinjiang Medical University in May 2013 to October 2013. Divided the patients into three groups, NDR, BDR, and PDR, by the method of FFA. Analyses the differences of the 3 groups in terms of age, gender, smoking, diabetic duration, BP, FBG,2hPPG, HbAlc, TG, TC, HDL-C, LDL-C, the treatment of diabetes. Logistic regression analysis is used to analyses the relationship between them. Results:There were statistically significant differences between smoking, diabetic duration, BP, HbAlc, LDL-C, refractive errors and the DR. There were insignificant differences between age, gender, FBG,2hPPG, TG, TC, HDL-C, the treatment of diabetes and the DR. Logistic regression analysis showed that diabetic duration, smoking, diabetic duration, BP, HbAlc, LDL-C(OR=1.271、1.479、 1.841、1.19、1.374) and refractive status(OR<1). Conclusion:A closed correlation has been found between smoking, diabetic duration, BP, HbAlc, LDL-C, refractive errors. Myopia was a protective factor for DR. Monitoring and evaluating systemic factors would be helpful for prevention and treatment of DR.
