Shugan Gas And Stomach Treatment Of Functional Dyspepsia In Clinical Research

Functional Dyspepsia is a common stomach intestine disease,the incidence of which is almost 10%～30%.The main symptom includes: epigastric distention, belching, nausea,et al, but no parenchymal disease(such as ulcer, anabrosis, tumor)can be found. From Chinese medicine angle it belongs to syndrome of feeling fullness and distension in the upper abdomen or gastrodynia.The main cause is melancholy, indigestion,or overstrain impairing the spleen.In this article we have made an initial summary of the treatment and diagnosis of functional dyspepsia(FD) produced by emotional disorders, according to professor Wang Xing Yue ideas and clinical experience.Literature research shows the existence of the concept of FD in the modern medicine, the traditional Chinese medicine, as well as the modern Chinese medicine. In all of them the etiology, clinical manifestations, pathogenesis, diagnosis, treatment and medications are discussed. A thorough systematic historical review and analysis shows that particularly in Chinese medicine the concept of FD has been known for a long time. Throughout the history of all the Chinese dynasties, different medical concepts related to FD, like etiology and pathogenesis have been widely discussed. And it is an introduction of the method of the professor in the treatment, research and clinical experience with FD.Meanwhile,in the modern medicine part, we discussed the cause,mechanism and treatment of FD.In this research the treatment of FD with the method of Drain the liver, regulate the energy and remove stasis is studied. The observations of the clinical cases, diagnosis and therapeutic results, are based on established standards. Clinical diagnosis standard will be according to the doctor practicing western medicine and diagnosing FD, as well as stasis in the surface with an underlying kidney deficiency as an origin according to Chinese medicine theory. Altogether the sample consists of 50 cases, which will be divided in two groups.
