ObjectiveCerebral Vascular Disease (CVD) had the high attack rate, high disabling rate, high fatal character, which was the common disease and frequently encountered disease for the mankind, especially for the mid-aged people. With the aging population of the globe more and more increasing, the harm of CVD is increasingly outstanding. The most common was ischemic CVD. So the medical public pay more important attention to ischemic CVD. Ischemic CVD emphasized the early treatment, which took the present of thrombolysis therapy. But the thrombolysis therapy had a strict period window. If this period passed, it could induce the injury of ischemia-reperfusion.Inflammatory reaction pay a crucial role in the pathological and physiological procedure of cerebral ischemia recently. As an important part of inflammatory reaction, complement system pay more and more attention. The more and more investigation evidence indicated that complement activation produced a marked effect during the cerebral ischemia reperfusion injury. Ischemical reperfusion injury was an intricated pathology and physiology course. The proper treatments to protect brain might elevate the tol of brain tissue to ischemic injury. Electroacupuncture had been applied in treating cerebral ischemia diseases, and its therapeutical effects had been confirmed by generous clinical and empirical studies.Used the MCAO model, this research investigated water content of brain tissue and the content of C3 and C4 in the brain tissue bomogenate and peripheral blood after CI to research the mechanism of early acupuncture treating resisting cerebral ischemical reperfusion injury after CI.Methods80 SD rats were randomly divided into sham operation group, model(ischemia 0.5h reperfusion 24 hours), electroacupuncture treatment(ischemia 0.5h reperfusion 24 hours, treating 2 times) and the normal control group, 10 rats in the frontal groups, 30 rats in other groups. Used the suture in MCA to establish MCAO ischemia-reperfusing model. The remarks of nerve function deficit referring to Lundy remarking standards. The acupoints of BAIHUI and SHUIGOU were selected, stimulated with slow-fast wave for 30 minutes. The blood of all rats was collected by extirpating eyealls, centrifuging. Obtainning rats' brain by decapitating quickly, some rats' brain used as measuring the water content of brain tissue, others used as brain tissue homogenate.
