Objective: To study the expression and significance of HPV16/18 DNA and P53, PCNA proteins in epidermal tissues of chronic cervistis, cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CIN) and cervical carcinomars. To investigate the correlation of HPV16/18 and P53, PCNA proteins and the relationship between the biomarkers and clinical pathological parameters. To analyse the siginificance of the biomaekers in the occurrence and development of cervical carcinomars. so as to provide the valuable evidence for the early clinical diagnosis and genetic therapy of cervical carcinomars.Method: HPV16/18 were detected by in situ hybridization(ISH), the expression of P53 and PCNA proteins were examined by immunohistochemistry in 60 cases of cervical carcinomars, 60 cases of CIN and 20 cases of epidermal tissues of chronic cervistis. Results: 1.The positive expression rate of HPV16/18 in cervical carcinomars was markedly higher than in CIN and epidermal tissues of chronic cervistis(P﹤0.05). 2.The positive expression rate of P53 and PCNA proteins were higher in cervical carcinomars. 3.We found the positive correlation between P53, PCNA and HPV16/18 DNA.Conclusion: HPV16/18 infection has a strong association with cervical carcinomars and CIN. P53 and PCNA proteins may be involved in the development of cervical carcinomars.
