Objective:To investigate the effects of the traditional complex prescription Ruanjianxiaoying decoction in treatment of the EAT through the TGAb,TMAb and the pathomorphology change of the thyroid gland under the light microscope. Inquire into themechanism of the Ruanjianxiaoying decoction's good effects in the treatment of the AIT.Methods:All the mice were divided into four groups randomly. They were normal group, Ruanjianxiaoying decoction treatment group, Glucosidorum Tripterygll Totorum treatment group and EAT group. To get the EAT model by the injection to the mice with Tg and CFA or IFA for five weeks. After six weeks' treatment with Ruanjianxiaoying decoction, analysis the TGAb,TMAb by RIA. Survey the pathomorphology change of the thyroid gland under the light microscope. Compare the results between every groups. Results:The level of the TGAb and TMAb of the Ruanjianxiaoying decoction treatment group were significantly lower than that of the EAT group and the Glucosidorum Tripterygll Totorum treatment group (p<0.05) The pathomorphology change of the thyroid gland under the light microscope were better than that of the EAT group and the Glucosidorum Tripterygll Totorum treatment group. The level of the TGAb and TMAb of the Glucosidorum Tripterygll Totorum treatment group had no disparities with that of the EAT group's (p>0.05). The pathomorphology change of the thyroid gland under the light microscope were better than that of the EAT group.Conclusion:(1) Ruanjianxiaoying decoction has the function of lowering the TGAb and TMAb of the mice.(2) Ruanjianxiaoying decoction has the function of relieving or recorering the structure and function of the damaged thyroid gland...
