Objective:To observe the clinical effect of combination of TraditionalChinese Medicine with Western medicine therapy(CWT for short) on treatingnonneoplastic epithelial disorders of skin and mucosa.Methods:100 cases of nonneoplastic epithelial disorders of skin and mucosawere divided into two groups randomly as combination of TraditionalChinese Medicine with Western medicine group and Western medicine group, each of them contained 50 cases. A course of treatments containedtraditional Chinese medicine and western medicine, and chose the effectof the change of estrogen and progestin receptor contents, scores of theclinical symptoms before and after the treatment as observing indexs.Results:1 The recovery rate of the group of combination of traditionalChinese medicine with western medicine is 40%, the total effective rateis 82%; which of western medicine is 8% and 42%. By means of statisticsanalysis, there is statistical difference between these two groups on theclinical effect (P<0.05). It states that the clinical effect of thetreatment group is better than that of the control group.2 On the effect of improving the skin character, the effective rateof CWT is 72%, which of western medicine is 48%. There is statisticaldifference between these two groups (P<0.05). It shows that CWT is betterthan the control group on the effect of improving the skin's characterof vulva.3 Both groups can ameliorate correlate clinical symptoms incertain level, especially the treatment groups (P<0.05). Comparing eachgroups on the same symptoms after treating, the treatment group hassignificiant difference from the control group on pruritus vulvae, vulvaskin character. 4 By means of statistics analysis ,there is no statisticaldifference between these two groups on the change of estrogen andprogestin receptor contents before and after the treatment.5 The investigation of the relative factors and the clinical effectshows that effect is patient's state. The clinical effects of the slighteris probably better than the other. The patho-types of nonneoplasticepithelial disorders of skin and mucosa has no relation with treatment. Conclusion:CWT can treat nonneoplastic epithelial disorders of skin andmucosa and ameliorate the correlate symptom through its good effect ofimproving the skin's character of vulva and pruritus vulvae. The mechanismis relevant to the function of CWT on abating inflammation andhyperkeratosis, recovery membrana mucosa of vulva.
