Opposition and unity is the basic law behind everything, so we need to treat things from the view of connection and contrast. In order to grasp the essence hides in things, during the process of analysis and disposition we should choose a key point to get in, It is the view of equilibrium. In my thesis, I connect and contrast tow therapeutic methods in"Treatise on Febrile Disease", inducing diaphoresis and inducing diuresis, and then draw readers'attention to the concept of balance. After the statement of basic background of balance view, finally I apply this thought to some problems in"Treatise on Febrile Disease".The whole thesis can be divided into three parts. The following is the main ideas.Part One: The Discussion of the Research's Background.Fist I introduce how the view of equilibrium indicates in some representative classical works of ancient China. Then I'll discourse on the basic theory of balance view, preparing for the following discourse.Part Tow: Discussing the Equilibrium in"Treatise on febrile Disease"by connecting and Contrasting Tow Therapeutic Method, Inducing Diaphoresis and Inducing Diuresis.To begin with two important therapeutic methods, then I'll bring up the discussion on balance view, introduce the analytic method, and analyze the base of balance view. Finally applying them to the disease of six channels, I emphasize on tow fundamental levels, Stomach-qi and Zang-qi, which support the balance view.Part Three: The Indication and Application of Equilibrium in"Treatise on Febrile Disease"In this part, I'll show the thought of equilibrium by analyzing the representative prescriptions, Cinnamon twig Decoction and Minor Decoction of Bupleurum. Through choosing prescription and applying modified decoction, I'll further mark readers understand the thought of equilibrium better. In the part of application, I'll interpret 28 items in the original text from the balance view and explore the holism of"disease of six channels"through the statement when patients will recover from this kind disease.In the end is the concluding which makes a brief summary of the whole thesis, express the main idea and bring up the further sustained research on the thesis.
