Gu Thorn On The Spring Clean Hole With The Entry Needle In The Treatment Of Stroke Dysphagia Clinical Research

Purpose: To determine the efficiency of"Hegu Thorn"on the Shang-Lian-Quan with nape-acupuncture treatment to post-stroke disphagia.Method: The study was applied into 2 groups; the Treatment Group and the Control Group. The treatment group was treated using the"hegu thorn"on the Shang-Lian-Quan, with nape acupuncture {Ya-men, Feng-Chi, Gong-Xue} treatment. On the other hand, the Control group was treated with modulated medium frequency swallowing therapy instrument. Both groups were given water to drink before and after the treatment.Results: The Treatment Group shows higher effectivity rate than the Control Group. Treatment Group effectivity rate is 95.00% while Control Group got 85.00% effectivity rate. There is (P<0.05) percent difference between the 2 groups. Clinical evaluation was determined after investigating the degree of improvement of the patient before and after drinking the water.Conclusion: It is therefore concluded that in treating the post-stroke dysphagia,"hegu thorn"on the Shang-Lian-Quan with nape acupuncture treatment is better than any other method of treatment.
