As for Realism Oil Painting Teaching Traditional, formed after the founding, the material was mainly a medium for the realistic application of service and skills improvement. The Oil Painting Teaching of the Central Academy of Fine Arts has been the most strongest all over the country, but after the founding, the Oil Painting Department did not found the Materials Studio to help for teaching until 1994. From the establishment of the Materials Studio to the present, the Teaching Objects, Teaching Content, Teaching Methods of the Materials Studio are getting benter and better, so more and more experts pay focus on it. It can be said that the development of the Materials Research adapts to the law of art, the social and technological development, and it is also consistent with its own unique teaching materials requirements. The self-improvement is important to its own context in the teaching.This article attempts to make a deep research on the teaching of the Material Studio of the Oil Painting Department in the Central Academy of Fine Arts, and reflect the teaching, try to study further, sum up historical experience, and supply the reference for the future development from all aspects of the Central Academy of Fine Arts.
