In the decisions of man's life, career decision-making is an important one that each of us should facing. In decision-making, different people will use different ways, and different ways of decision-making will have different results, different decision result means a different way of life, therefore, the decision to our life plays a vital role.There are many factors that affect the decision making, when people make important decisions, the mood for a long time is considered to be interference factors that must to be avoided, however, some recent research results show that emotion and cognitive system with decision-making are closely linked, emotion and cognition are interdependent and effect.Emotional intelligence refers to the individual perception and the ability to understand emotions, using emotions to facilitate thinking, the ability to manage emotions to promote development. So, in a different participation of emotional intelligence, career decision-making will be affected differently.Self-handicapping is negative behavior strategy when students face exams or other evaluative pressure situations. The stronger of the management and regulation of individual's own emotions, in the pressure situations the individual should be more effective and reasonable self-regulation to take appropriate adaptive behavior, that is, the phenomenon of self-handicapping will less, its main research focus in the learning areas. Based on this, the paper will hinder research expands to social fields, and study the influence to college students'career decision-making.This thesis is divided into three parts, the first part review the research about career decision-making, emotional intelligence and self-handicapping. It have an overall review and finishing on emotional intelligence, self-handicapping and career decision making. The second part consists of three empirical research:One is the investigation on college students'professional property important degree, compared to the results of previous surveys, the conclusion almost consistent. Salary, welfare and professional interest is still ranked in the most important position, the degree of working stability is in comparison to the middle point of row, but opportunities for promotion opportunities and the importance of post-graduate level position in the hearts of college students has declined.The second is the relationship between emotional intelligence,self-handicapping and caree decision-making. The results of the study show that, emotional intelligence,self-handicapping,career decision-making tendency and the risk of caree preferences exist gender differences;Emotional intelligence plays an mediating part between self-handicapping and decision-making tendency,self-handicapping and the risk of caree preference.The third is the influence to the risk of career preferences of decision-making by emotional intelligence and self-handicapping. The results showed that In risk propensity, the main effect of emotional intelligence and self-hadicapping is remarkable; Task framework for self-handicapping group and emotional intelligence group was trying to risk propensity role in opposite directions.The last part of the paper summarizes the entire study and the reflection, this study pointed out the significance of this research and the application value, and puts forward the shortcomings of this study and the prospects of the coming studies.
