Not only from the aspect of Chinese's developmental history, but also from the aspect of comparison between different languages and the system of Chinese sentence pattern, jianyu sentence is a kind of unique sentence pattern existing objectively in Chinese. It consists of subject, predicate, object and complement. The verb controls object and compliment which, fuethermore, supplementes the object. According to the characteristics of Chinese language, it can be called dong.binbu sentence.Distinguishing jianyu sentence in《Lv Shi Chun Qiu》from other unidentifiable sentence patterns is maily distinguishing jianyu sentence from shubin sentence using a small sentence as its object. In grammer, there are four kinds of standards:firstly, jianyu sentence's complement dosen't have highly initative words, but the small sentence of shubin sentence using a small sentence as its object can; secondly, jianyu sentence's complement dosen't have subject, but the small sentence of shubin sentence using a small sentence as its object can have twe or more subjects; thirdly, other constituents can't be inserted between jianyu sentence's verb and its object, but other constituents can be inserted between the verb of shubin sentence using a small sentence as its object and the small sentence's subject; fourthly, jianyu sentence's verb can control other objects in structure, but the sentence of shubin sentence using a small sentence as its object can't. Speech pause and interrogertive form are not standards of judging them. Whether they can take "an event" or not is also not standard of judging them. Sentence with verb "you" and sentence with verbs "shi","ling" expressing a meaning of "result" can be divided into shubin sentence with a sentence as its object. In semantics, jianyu sentence's object takes a role of "object", the verb of shubin sentence using a small sentence as its object controls the whole sentence. In pragmatics, jianyu sentence's complement has a tense problem, its occurrence can be decided by specific context, not by predicate's tense. The occurrence of shubin sentence using a small sentence as its object changes with its predicate's tense. There are 258 jianyu sentences in《Lv Shi Chun Qiu》which distribute among 14 jianyu sentence's verbs. Verbs of "shi","ming","ling" have the highest occurent frequency and take more than 90% in all.《Lv Shi Chun Qiu》jianyu sentence has its own remarkable characteristics. In grammer, in structure, jianyu sentence's complement can be nominal constituent, verbal constituent and adjective constituent, but adjective constituent that only has a potential possibility doesn't appear. Its complement'tense is decided by specific context, not by predicate's tense. There are three kinds of interrogertive form towards its complement:if complement is nominal constituent, we can use "what" to put forward a question; if complement is verbal constituent, we can use "do what" to put forward a question; if complement is adjective constituent, we can use "how anout" to put forward a question. In semantics, jianyu sentence's subject takes a role of "agent", jianyu sentence's object takes a role of "object". Its complement points to both verb and object. In pragmatics, in the text, jianyu sentence's new information and old information is relative. Its complement can convey information which occourred and which did not occourre. Jianyu sentence's complement's affirmtive information and negative information have equal occurrent possibility. Jianyu sentence's tense information is conveyed through specific context. Its complement's tense information is alse decided by specific context. Its elliptical information cann't be separated from specific context and context is also a necessary condition to jianyu sentence's object's elliptical phenomenon.
